Dr Sam Dawkins is a cardiologist specialising in general cardiology, interventional cardiology and structural intervention, including transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (MitraClip/Pascal), closure of patent foramen ovale (PFO) and atrial septal defect (ASD), left atrial appendage occlusion and paravalvular leak closure. He practices at the Nuffield Manor Hospital in Oxford. His NHS practice is at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
He has expertise in cardiac CT and echocardiography and offers a comprehensive service for both diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiac symptoms such as chest pain, breathlessness and palpitations.
